Description:

The story of the adventures of a small, unattractive but very kind doll who is willing to help his friend even at personal risk to himself.

Somewhat of a departure for Oleg Pedan as the script is very "normal" and seems to have no extra layers of meaning for older viewers, but the same joy of animating in stop motion with "regular" objects is evident here as in his other films.

The name of the doll is a common surname used in Belarus since the 19th century that is apparently (?) mostly used by those of Vietnamese ancestry, but the reason it was chosen in this film may be because it sounds similar to the Russian adjective "лохматый" which means "shaggy" or "mop-headed".
