This film is part of the Sports Teams "Meteor" and "Pennant" series.

A hockey match between arrogant professionals and a friendly local amateur team.

One of the best examples of the Soviet "Disney-style" school of animation, this won a number of awards and was popular with the public.

There are only a few words in the film - the posters advertising a match between the (red) "Meteor" team and the (blue, local) "Vympel" team. And also the traditional hockey chant "Shaybu! Shaybu!" which translates to "(Get) the puck!".

The first video above includes the film and its two sequels. The second video comes from Soyuzmultfilm's channel, however, it displays the film in the wrong aspect ratio (it seems to be 5:4 instead of 3:2 - you can tell because the circle at the very beginning looks elongated vertically).
