Description:

The Cat and the Rooster help the old man and the old woman. One day when the weather was bad they shelter the wood's animals under an old hut, but they were so numerous, that there wasn’t enough bread. Then the old man decided to construct a mill.

Based on the Russian fairy tale "Millstones" (Жерновки)

Of the two video links above, the second has a restored image, but DOES NOT have the original soundtrack (rather, a recreation with synthetic instruments, moved up a semitone in pitch, and new voice actors). The first one is the original film and the one you should watch, even though the colours are darker and it has some interlacing.
