Description:
A film devoted to the 40th anniversary of the Victory over fascism. Based on the true story of a Don Quixote doll created by the prisoners of the Osvencim (Auschwitz) concentration camp.
It is a drama about the strength and stability of human spirit in the struggle against fascism. The Soyuzmultfilm Artistic council was tricked into accepting the art-design of Marina Kurchevskaya made for the film, daughter of the puppetfilm film association Vadim Kurchevsky, as her debut. It would not become the design the film was made after.
