Description:

An animated Russian folk music concert. The first Soviet cartoon made for television.

Studios in different republics were made possible by the government of the USSR in 1959. Ten years later, in 1969, regional studios were allowed to produce animation for television, alongside a central TV animation studio (Ekran). But the first TV animation to be completed was this one by Sverdlovsk Telefilm.
