Description:

A dog-shepherd asks a cat-furrier to fix his hat, but gets cheated. Based on the story by Armenian writer Hovhannes Tumanyan.

This is a remake of the 1938 cartoon made by the same director at Armenfilm studio. The Russian poems are by Samuil Marshak.

Compared to 1938, the music is European-orchestral rather than traditional Armenian, and there is no Armenian-language singing. It is also in colour, and the animation is technically much smoother. The plot is told in a somewhat different way, as well.
