Description:

A young girl named Alice falls through a rabbit hole into a fantasy world of anthropomorphic creatures, then enters into the world behind the looking-glass. Adapted from Lewis Carroll's famous two books as a series of 10-minute short films.

After his successful adaptation of the first book by Lewis Carroll in 1981, director Yefrem Pruzhanskiy also adapted its sequel the following year. The art director for all the films was Irina Smirnova, who later became a director in her own right.

Awards:
1984 - London International Film Festival - "Best Film Adaptation of Lewis Carroll by a Foreign Director" (for Pruzhanskiy's adaptations of the two Alice books)
