Almost every line in the film can be directly sourced. The sources & translation notes are hidden in the subtitles themselves in lines that are 0 seconds long (completely invisible to someone watching the film). For convenience, they are also reproduced below.

The process of creation for these subtitles was as follows: Lemicnor transcribed the Russian dialogue, made the Russian subtitles, and found almost all of the textual sources (references, URLs). Eus put Lemicnor's Russian subtitles through the AI translation app DeepL, and fixed up the timings and the AI translation somewhat. Niffiwan found as many existing (professional, published, amateur) translations of the various poems as possible, selected the best ones to use, translated what couldn't be found (or wasn't good), fixed various mistakes the AI had made in translating in the prose, further improved the timings, and added some more context to the hidden notes.
