A tiger invites the mother-monkey to the opera (Verdi's Othello), but her children find out and trick her into taking them instead.
Wordless except for some signs and the title song.
The credit at 2:12 says that this film was sponsored by the "Eskado" (Эскадо) bank, which was founded in 1991, bankrupt in 1998 and ceased to exist in 2000.

As someone who sometimes likes watching opera, this one is more painful than fun.
I wonder if it was inspired by the previous year's Captain Pronin at the Opera?
