Biography:
Born in Miris, Spain in 1925, Luis A. Fernandez later immigrated to the Georgian SSR (perhaps as a consequence of his family's involvement in the 1936-1939 Spanish Civil War). He graduated from Tbilisi Art Academy in 1965. From 1967, he worked in the department of animated films of "Georgia Film", first as art director and later as director.
