Dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Great October Socialist Revolution. The film tells the history of the USSR from 1917 to 1967 using live action footage, popular songs of the era and the political cartoons of Boris Yefimov.

01:57 - Allied intervention in the Russian Civil War
02:39 - Red Army triumphs in the Russian Civil War
04:05 - Rapid industrialization of the country through the 5-year plans
05:30 - rise of Hitler
06:05 - WW2 (Eastern Front)
07:30 - Post-war restoration of the USSR
08:45 - USSR launches first satellite (Sputnik) in 1957, and Yuri Gagarin's manned space flight (1961)


The above video has a good image but unfortunately has a few short splices in some parts. This is especially noticeable at the very end, as the last line of the film is cut beyond recognition (it should be "Народ - истории творец! Любых врагов страны советов, и их гадалок, ждёт..." but instead one hears "...стории творец ... любых врагов стр... ждёт...").
