Description:

A story of friendship of a cheerful baker and a little breeze. Based on the Yiddish poem by Soviet writer Ovsey Driz.

The malicious winter prevents the baker from baking rolls for children, the baker falls ill, and his friend the breeze cannot amuse him, so he asks the spring to help him. Then the baker bakes again, and the breeze carries the tasty smells from his bakery.

The original poem was written in Yiddish, and can be read in (unprofessional) Russian translation here. In 1974, a little book adaptation of the animated film was released, whose text can be read here.
