Optical Illusion
Абман зрения
Abman zreniya (ru)
Description:
A trilogy of films covering the themes of: the child, society, the individual (and also: the 1960s, the 1970s, the 1980s).
The Russian title ("Abman zreniya") is purposefully misspelled in a reference to the Moscow habit of pronouncing unaccented Os as As ("Akaniye").
Despite "Autism" being the first film of Aynutdinov's trilogy to be started, and his intended course-work at VGIK, he decided to defend his diploma with the second film ("Amentia") instead, and the first film was only finished two years later.
