This film is part of the Little Fox series.
Description:
A little fox who lives with his father meets a mysterious echo in the wood. Based on the children's stories of Igor Farbarzhevich.

The video above (with the logo on the bottom left) is slightly less sharp and has slightly less of the image in the frame than another version that can be found elsewhere (not on YouTube).

I'm no fan of the drawing style, but the screenplays in this series are very good, and there's something about the nostalgic mood and the focus on imagination, on the boundaries between past/present, child/adult, real/imaginary, visible/invisible, concrete/metaphorical that really appeal to me.
And some of them, like this one, I find very emotional to watch...
