Description:
Two men decide to go on a journey, picking up other travelers along the way. Based on the absurdist story "First, Second" by Daniil Kharms.
The original story, written in the 1930s, can be read here. An English translation by Richard Pevear was published in 1996.
The poem that appears at 5:22 was written in 1931 and can be read here, but apparently only first published in 1978 in a collection of his poems.
