A malicious stepmother orders an old man to leave his daughter Masha in the forest. Once there, Masha, comes into the house of a Bear who orders her to play blind man’s buff with him.

A classical Russian folk tale related to the German Frau Holle, similar to the one that inspired the series Masha and the Bear. The good stepdaughter being rewarded, the lazy daughter trying to do the same being punished. The helpful mouse with his bell makes it into a true classic miracle of the Brumbergs' work.

Of the videos above, #1 is the best overall and #2 is similar to #1 (but its image quality might be a little worse than #1 because its aspect ratio is being corrected through this website).
