Description:
2 very young partridges adopt 12 orphan chicks after their parents are taken by a hawk. Based on the story by Vitaliy Bianki.
The way that the birds talk to each other is very representative of the way that people would talk to their neighbours when they were trying to be very socially polite and proper.
There is also a version of this out there that has better colours but with the entire original soundtrack replaced.
