Description:

A remake of the 1941 film about a chatty fly who finds a coin and goes to buy a samovar. Based on the poem by Chukovsky.

The supervising director of the remake was Roman Davydov, who made a number of changes from the original, including changing the designs of the characters, moving around the order of some scenes, and having more close-ups. Boris Dyozhkin reportedly liked the colours but disliked many of the other changes.

The original poem can be read here. An illustrated English version titled "Little Fly So Sprightly" was published in 1981 and can be read here (it's a different translation that in the film).
